In today's world a lot of people want to have a gun, not for hunting, but for the protection of their family and their houses/offices.

Or if it is stolen you will not only lose the money paid for it, but you can also be morally responsible for a potential attack or even a murder. According to the FBI, more then 30% of the guns used in illicit actions were initially obtained through a theft from homes or businesses.
You have to take the time and the money to assure yourself that your gun is safe!
